Tag- you're it!

I was tagged by my friend, Jennie the other day. This is not the first time I have been "tagged" but it IS the first time I have actually acted on the tag! I could not pass up this photo. The directions are as follows: Go to your 4th picture folder. Find the 4th picture. Explain it, and tag four more people.
And, I promise this was the fourth photo in my fourth album! This photo was taken when we were leaving the hospital with Bella Grace. I cannot believe this was over 2 1/2 years ago! Amazing how time flies...
Now, I tag... Lindsay C. , Mandy L. , & Lindsey C. - my high school friends (as long as it is NOT a photo of me in high school!)

To those who keep on running...

James' Dad has a quote that he has always told James- "Life is not to the swift but to those who keep on running." A few weeks ago James ran the St. Jude Marathon in Memphis hoping to qualify for the Boston Marathon. In order to qualify- you must run a marathon in under 3 hours and 10 minutes. James was ready. At the half-way point, I stood there to take a few photos and was so proud that he was still with the 3:10 pace team. He was on his way! Long story short, he did not qualify. His legs gave out on him the last 2 miles. I thought that I might be sad or disappointed if he did not come through the finish line by 3:10 but it was just the opposite. Tears ran down my face when I saw him hobbling through the finish line a little past his hopeful time. There are very few times in my life when I have seen my husband "weak" and the passage in the Bible rang loud & clear in my mind on this Saturday afternoon- "for when you are weak, I am strong." He did not give up. He kept on running and I was so proud. Can you just imagine how our Heavenly Father feels about us as we run this race of life? I can't wait to cross that finish line and know that my reward is to see my Maker's face. Keep on running...keep on. Don't give up for your reward is great!
And, James is running the Nashville marathon in April so stay tuned!

Sign this petition!!!
In one of my previous posts, I spoke about the Freedom of Choice Act that President-Elect Obama has promised to put into law "first thing" when he starts office. See below for a great explanation on what this Act intends to impose. Please go on this site and sign the petition. Don't forget to pray for Obama's heart to change on this matter. For all things are possible with God!

Planned Parenthood has stated, “FOCA will supercede anti-choice laws that restrict the right to choose, including laws that prohibit the public funding of abortions for poor women or counseling and referrals for abortions. Additionally, FOCA will prohibit onerous restrictions on a woman’s right to choose, such as mandated delays and targeted and medically unnecessary regulations.” As Senator Boxer eloquently explained in 2004, “FOCA [will] supersede all other laws,” especially those that the Supreme Court has held to be constitutional under Roe v. Wade and subsequent decisions.
